Since 2008, Technotrix has had the pleasure of working with the City of Chicago on these great festivals.
Technotrix and Martin Audio Cover Chicago Festivals
Chicago Gospel Music Festival
Previously held in Ellis Park in the Bronzeville neighborhood, Gospel Fest moved (again) to Millennium Park in 2015. Each year thousands of people flock to this free event in the birthplace of gospel music. And each year we are there to provide labor and produce quality audio, no matter the location.
Chicago Blues Festival
The Chicago Blues Festival is the largest free blues festival in the world. For Blues Fest’s 32nd year, Technotrix deployed our Martin Audio MLA System on the main stage. With the MLA system’s software optimization we were able to cover a much longer throw than capable with traditional PA. Guaranteeing people in the back were able to hear their favorite blues legends like never before.
Taste of Chicago
Every summer for 35 years in Grant Park,
Chicago holds the world’s largest food festival. People not only come for the array of food but also music. In 2015 the Petrillo Music Shell headliners included: Weezer, Erykah Badu, The Chieftains, Spoon and Maze. We were able to produce another outstanding Taste of Chicago with our flagship Martin Audio MLA System.

Chicago Jazz Fest
Every Labor Day weekend, Jazz Fest takes over Millennium park. We produce the audio for the Von Freeman Pavilion, Jazz and Heritage Pavilion, and Young Jazz Lions Stage using our inventory of Martin Audio W8LC, W8LM, WSX, WS218X, W8C, XD12 and LE12JB. We were able to cover each pavilion with consistent sound coverage to all in attendance.
