The Greater North Michigan Avenue Association’s Shopping Festival kicked off with a combination fashion show and musical performance, with Technotrix proudly providing the production solution.
Located in a large tent on the plaza at 401 N. Michigan Ave, we constructed a unique stage, hung a versatile intelligent lighting rig, and designed sound reinforcement and video systems.
The greatest challenge in this production was the limitations of the tent. Developing a to-scale rendering of both the tent and our production design allowed us to efficiently plan our procedures and work out many of the possible snags in advance.
